Stranraer Lifeboat Gala Week 2008!!
Sat 16th - Sun 24th Aug
Sat 16th Aug - car wash at G.I. motors,glenn street. 9am-3pm. £3 per car. come along and get your car handwashed by the crew of stranraer lifeboat!!
Sun 17th Aug - Car treasure hunt from 2pm. forms availiable from the "waterline" pub.
Mon 18th Aug - Bingo night at "The Waterline" 7.30pm start.
Tues 19th Aug - Day- Golf Tournament at Stranraer golf club (Ladies) £7, all welcome.
Night - The big Quiz!! at the waterline 7.30pm start.
Wed 20th Aug -Day- Golf Tournament at stranraer golf club (Gents) £7 , all welcome.
Night - Race Night at stranraer football club starts 7.30 pm.
Thurs 21st Aug - Casino night £5 entry with a free glass of bubbly followed by live band "New Sound" then disco till 2am at the waterline.
Fri 22nd Aug - "Billy Connolly" Tribute 9.30pm at the waterline (back by popular demand!) followed by an auction.
Sat 23rd Aug - Lifeboat excercise at the lifeboat station.
Night- "Pirate" Themed party at the waterline till 2am, prizes for best dressed.
Sun 24th Aug - Day- Navy and all emergency services down at the waterline from 12pm-4pm.
Kids entertainer 3pm-5pm
Kids fairground
Face Painting, Balloon Race, Photos
Family quiz from 5.30pm
All in or outside the waterline.
Night - Hypnotist 9pm-12pm @ the waterline.
The gala week is all to raise money for vital crew training. The week MUST be enjoyed by all!!
