The station has been allocated a landrover 110 to tow the ILB on its trailer for use to transport the ILB to launch sites away from the station. eg. wig bay, lady bay and luce bay etc. this particular vehicle has been fitted with a premier hazard light bar, with blue lights, blue grill repeater strobe lights, electronic wail/yelp siren, marine VHF radio, first aid kit. spare parachute flares for search and rescues, waders for launch and recovery, oxygen, spare rope chain and anchor for the d-class which can also double up as a sand anchor to pull the land rover out if the land rover ever became stuck on the beach.the vehicle has both front and rear spot/work lights and also a front electric winch. we recevied this vehicle to replace out "X" reg land rover. the land rover was recieved "run-in" with roughly 2000 miles on the clock.
